Who is Millie?

Camp Millie is named in honor of our late Justice Caucus Board Member, Millie Jeffrey. In her 93 years, Millie was a champion of social and economic justice for workers, women and minorities. Co-founder of the National Women’s Political Caucus and revered by progressive activists nationwide, Millie received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Bill Clinton in 2000.
